A LOT of welding tonight. Here you can see the additional tabs shown in a previous picture wrapped around the back of the bumper. Everything is fully welded. Also shown is the sleeved hole (the one on the right). Not far now :(

Front bumper coming together. tabs are welded on and Im gonig to reuse the ends that I cut off. I angled them so it sweeps back a smidge. The 2 strips shown are 2 of 4 and they will act as additional material and support for the tabs. the 5/8 bolts will be used for recovery points. Can't see in the picture but where it bolts to the front of the frame horns I got a 11/16 drill bit so I can use 1/2 inch pipe for crush sleeves. The end caps are just tacked on and will most likely come off before the bumper is done.

Relay panel consists of 6 relays. 4 for the fan (2 for high 1 for low 1 to switch from high to low) and 2 for the headlights. 5 wires coming into the panel and 4 going out. uses existing holes in the fender and will double up the bolts to hold down the wire wraps and act as a ground. Chad widdled this up and it looks great. Will need some finishing but good to get it layed out.

Counter for the trailer. Nice finish work by chadder and those little air brad nialers kick ass. This replaces the sink and the stove as we were never going to use them. We also made a versatile table / shelf / divider that isn't shown here but in any case both need a heavy coat of verathane.

some custom bolts to hang a sign I made for the lake. 8 inch lag one side and 8 inch all thread on the other. Should do the trick.

Insulated terminal block for jmo. Not bad if I do say so myself.

I got part of the recovery point tabs done and layed them out on the bumper. Im going to wrap another 3/16 piece of flat bar around them. Each side will have a 5/8s grade 8 bolt to hook onto.

chads windshield hold down clamps are done. Nice aluminum spacer and stainless allen screws.

While tearing down the headlight buckets I found some serious rust. I figured I should work on the sandblast cabinet. the before and after. I might put a bead of silicon on the inside of the cabinet.

Here is the sleeve on the steering shaft. This means it just needs to be installed. Better get crackin jmo this is one my last procrastination pieces.

kind of blurry but this is the sleeve for the steering shaft. 4holes on each side for rosette welds.

You can see the old buckets here. I had to notch the rear of the bucket to clear the aluminum radiator. The late model buckets are flat on the back and should clear nicely and eliminate the razor sharp edge left on my cut.

Im going to be installing late model headlight bucket to cleanup the rear of the bib and play nicer with the radiator. Of course they don't drop in so you can see the cut out for a nub on the bucket.

Its not much but its an important piece. joining the existing steering shaft to the one from the S10. This was my second attempt :(. I built a little jig so its as straight as I could get it. There isn't alot of clearance so its important that shaft is straight, turned out pretty good. Im going to sleeve it with a chunk of the S10 shaft where I joined the the two.

Installed the cooler / water can rack / gas tank on the front of the trailer. Won't help get the cruiser on the road but sure freed up some floor space.

Steering wheel is pretty cleaned up. little better shot of how it looks under the dash. You can see the ears that bolt to OEM nuts.

Before the final install the bolts will be cleaned up and get all the right washers. Looks great. thanks to chadder for the excellent weld job.
