Little closer comparison. The new braces are a lot nicer Posted by Picasa

Easy Peasy. Posted by Picasa

comparison of the two braces. Factory is the skinny black one Posted by Picasa

Project 2 for the day was to put in some beefier shinier upper braces ... somewhere in there is the groove we need to grind out Posted by Picasa

As the new brace is a larger diameter the human milling machine needed to cut the groove a little wider Posted by Picasa

For the upper shock towers we went with some factory ford units. We went with the bolt on method as they were bolted (or riveted) from the factory. Due to slop we ended up having to put a couple of welds on it. Posted by Picasa

All done. We have to notch the fenders now so they will clear the upper towers. These turned out really nice. Posted by Picasa
